volunteer opportunities

The YWCA of Bergen County relies on the skills and generosity of individuals such as yourself who are interested in donating some of their free time to our organization. We offer a wide variety of volunteer opportunities in which you can either interact directly with our members, or work behind the scenes at one of our many exciting special events.

The following are just a few of the areas where you can donate your time and energies to us, as we work to provide the community with programs that empower women and girls and eliminate racism.

Special Swim: Whether or not you are an experienced swimmer, you can get in the pool and assist our mentally and/or physically challenged members in their swim programs.

Special Events: Our Special Events Department holds a variety of events throughout the year, including an auction, charity grand gala, golf outing and TWIN (Tribute To Women and Industry) Awards event that are all filled with opportunities in which you can donate your time to help us prepare for the event or at the event itself.

These are just a few of the opportunities available to you.
