The Swim Instructor’s primary responsibility is to teach others how to swim in a pool by coaching and guiding them on different swimming techniques and teaching them to become effective swimmers. Under the supervision of the Site Supervisor, the Recreation Counselor assists group of 15-25 elementary school children grades K-6. Recreation Counselors ensure the safety of children as they take them through a schedule of activities that include snack, homework, gym time, arts & crafts, outdoor sports, reading, board games, and special events. The Clinician is responsible for providing crisis-intervention, counseling and advocacy to victims of sexual assault/abuse and their families. This involves psychosocial assessment, person-centered treatment planning, treatment sessions, progress evaluations, and termination services with clients.
