All the benefits of an Annual Body Shop "plus" membership and access to all Aqua-fitness classes,
plus lap swimming and the whirlpool!

body shop “basics” membership:
- Basic YWCA membership.
- Full year’s enrollment in unlimited “basics” body shop classes (indicated with black type.)
- Access to whirlpool during hours of operation.
“basics” session fees:
- Take an unlimited number of weekly “basics” classes during the session.
- Fee will not be pro-rated until the fifth week of classes.

The YWCA’s fitness professionals and certified instructors teach based on guidelines provided by the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA) and the American Council of Exercise (ACE). Classes contain10-minute warm-ups and cool downs.

advanced sculpting with Merrill (multi-level)
A sculpting-only class using free weights, body bars, medicine balls and Physio-balls for a challenging full-body workout!
new! aerobox with Thomasiné
A fun yet intense aerobic workout that includes punches, jabs, and body strikes. Jump rope, crunches and martial arts drills are incorporated for a real boxer’s workout!
aqua combo with Victoria/Diane (multi-level)
Non-impact water fitness designed to deliver an aerobic punch! Following a proper warm-up and cardiovascular segment, aquatic strength training is utilized to increase muscle tone, function and range of motion.
aquatone! with Jackie
Classic water aerobics combined with water sculpting exercises to build stamina, strength, and endurance.
new! bellydance boogie with SaFire
getting fit can really make you feel great, especially when it is this much fun! Shimmy, shake and undulate your way to a fabulous body, good health and well being.
new! body, booty & abs with Charmaine
Combines hard core cardio with strength moves to build muscles and strength in the abs, glutes and all over. This is a full workout designed to challenge the body and mind.
body insight with Thomasiné (multi-level)
Injury prevention through exercise and education is the goal of this class! Strength specific exercises, new movement training techniques, and therapeutic stretches are practiced to manage or prevent knee pain, foot pain, back pain, shoulder and arm pain, and overuse injuries.
cardio blast with Merrill (multi-level)
Enjoy a full-body cardiovascular workout while cross-training a variety of aerobic formats. Step, low-impact, high-impact, plyometrics and sport drills will be included in this well-balanced mix of cardiovascular challenge. All levels are welcome, as beginners can benefit with modifications.
cardio-strength mix with Lynn (multi-level)
A high intensity cross-training workload using multi-impact aerobic sports drills, step, and plyometrics with intervals of tough resistance training.
new! circuit express with Rita
The choreography is simple, the cardio is low impact, but when combined with strength “stations” this class is intense! Cardio and strength are combined for maximum results that will really boost your health and fitness levels.
new! core & more with Rita (multi-level)
Balance and strength moves are incorporated to boost your core strength and stability, as well as lengthen and strengthen the spine.
core fusion with Christina (multi-level)
An invigorating class that combines traditional abdominal work, Pilates, and developmental stretch. Principles of balance, control, and posture address the whole core while purposeful flexibility is utilized to lengthen the muscles that tend to be too “tight.”
go for it with Fran/Merrill (inter.-adv.)
Gain strength, energy, stamina and efficient fitness with 30 minutes of aerobics cross-trained with 30 minutes of strength training. If you want to look better and feel better, let’s go for it!
integrated pilates with Alison (multi-level)
A structured mix of “classic” and “enhanced” Pilates exercises. To maximize fluidity and variety, movements are faster-paced and more choreographed than traditional Pilates. Intergrated into the workload will be the use of stability balls, Pilates rings, dynabands, etc.
iyengar yoga with Dusanka (level l, ll & level lll)
Iyengar yoga begins with standing, sitting and lying down postures. The class is later introduced to inversion, more vigorous backbends and breathing techniques. The Iyengar method emphasizes proper alignment and builds strength, flexibility and inner peace.
** Please be advised that socks, shoes, jeans and baggy clothes are not
recommended. Shorts and t-shirts are best. Inform instructor of any medical conditions, treatments and/or injuries. Please do not eat prior to class.
morning mile plus fast firming with Merrill
Boost your metabolism and bone health with this unique indoor walking class that incorporates upbeat music, a variety of equipment and a thorough resistance program. Expect to complete a on- mile walk in 15 minutes!
new! pilates hour of power with Cheri (multi-level)
Your core will thank you as your abs get stronger, your posture improves and your entire body gets toned. This class will feature classical, traditional mat Pilates at various levels.

A weight-bearing program designed to build muscle strength, endurance and flexibility from head to toe!

A full-body workout in five 10-minute segments–cardio, lower body, upper body, abs and stretch—each featuring a well-cued series of exercises. Easy-to-follow aerobics get your body moving and two-part toning segments challenge you to move from low to high intensity. Finish with a well-deserved stretch.

Vinyasa Flow Yoga will help improve your flexibility and alignment while strengthening muscles. This style of yoga links the breath and movement through a sequence of Sun Salutations and postures while offering precise instruction and proper alignment principles. You will improve your poses and transistions, as well as your physical and emotional well being.
walk with a twist with Merrill
This class builds on our basic indoor walking program, adding a unique “twist” or distinct theme to maximize motivation and vary challenges to the body. Whether it’s walking with strength training, walking with jogging, walking with kickboxing, or walking with yoga, you’ll be walking with a twist!

Build strength and cardiovascular endurance while you tone and shape muscles. Group spinning is an ideal way to cross-train, and you’ll be burning an average of 400-500 calories per 45 minute workout.
