new! girl power - ages 9-12 yrs.
“Girl Power” is a dynamic health and wellness program that will get young girls fit, healthy and energized! The class begins with 20 minutes of yoga and Pilates to create calm, confident, and strong bodies. Then a range of upbeat lessons is covered that foster increased self and body acceptance, healthier eating and exercise habits, leadership skills, and a range of coping skills for resisting unhealthy peer and cultural pressures. “Girl Power” is committed to strengthening the self-esteem and body image of girls everywhere.

new! girls intramurals - ages 10-12 yrs.
Come and learn sport skills in a “no pressure” environment. Different sports will be played throughout the session in non-competive game situations.
Mon. 3:45 - 4:30 pm


new! zumba® girls- ages 9-12 yrs.
Zumba® girls offers motivating music and high energy Latin dance moves that are fun and easy for girls to learn. The routines feature aerobic intervals of fast and slow rhythms designed to get girls moving and feeling good about themselves.

The YWCA of Bergen County has joined forces with service organizations, businesses and individuals in the area to create the Bergen County Girls Coalition. Our goal is to create empowering and inspirational programming for girls that will not only expand their realm of thought, but enlighten them to the endless possibilities that are available to them as they become women.
