ywracial justice: Stand Against Racism 2010

The YWCA Bergen County held its second annual “Stand Against Racism” event on Friday, April 30th at the Paramus Park Mall. The program featured guest speaker Dr. Joseph Dallon, Jr., Professor Emeritus, Ramapo College of New Jersey, and musical performances by the Paramus High School Prem1iers choral group. A children’s art show, “Hands in Art – A Common Thread”, featured artwork by students in the YW's After School Program. And the winners of our Martin Luther King Jr. Essay Contest, who represented schools in Englewood, Elmwood Park and Ridgefield, read their winning entries.
